Easter is this Sunday and I love the concept of decorating eggs, but, if it’s too complicated, I am not inspired to even give it a go! Most people, including myself, don’t have the patience for glitter, washi tape and modge podge glue (LOL…goals!!) or even dye for that matter. Here are some really easy things you can do with SHARPIE MARKERS. You may need to take a trip to Michael’s for your Sharpie’s but it’s worth it. For all links below, you need to blow out the eggs vs. hard boiling them so the inside is empty. DO NOT TRY TO SHARPIE A HARD BOILED EGG, it won’t work! Most importantly, make sure your eggs are completely dry before attempting to write on them. Have fun and let me know if you try any of these. I would love to see photos! How to Blow Out Your Eggs Essentially, all you need to do is poke a hole on the top and bottom of the egg with a needle, clean the egg off when the insides are out, and set it aside to dry before decorating it. Instructions are here: https://artfulparent.com/blowing-out-easter-eggs/

Black and White Graphic Easter Egg Think “black and white doodle eggs”. It can be surprisingly cathartic to sit and doodle on eggs all day! All you need are white eggs, a pencil and a black Sharpie! http://www.earnesthomeco.com/black-and-white-graphic-easter-eggs/

Monogrammed Egg You'll need letter stickers from Michael’s and some colored Sharpie’s. These look so professional and are super easy to do! http://artzycreations.com/decorate-easter-eggs-with-sharpie-markers/

Gold Speckled Eggs The blog suggests dying your eggs a light blue and speckling with a gold Sharpie! You can totally skip the dying part and just use a gold Sharpie. It would also look just as pretty using a black Sharpie! https://www.carolynshomework.com/2013/03/celebrations-dyed-speckled-easter-eggs.html
